Drawn from the depths of the flow state.
Too crazy to paint over. Too interesting to just be a background. Maybe I'll call it "strangers brush shoulders at a midnight diner" or something. Acrylic on canvas 70cms x 50cms. Price includes packaging and postage to the UK and Europe.

Abstract in greens and reds. Is it art deco? Sort of, maybe. I like it's upward flow and it conjures the feeling of a rolling landscape for me in some respect. The greens and reds come across as warm and calm to me. Acrylic on canvas 60 cms x 60 cms. Price includes postage and packaging to the UK and Europe.

Where does inspiration come from and what does it produce? Yesterday the main fuse in my house tripped out and I had no electricity. I had no access to reference photos on my computer. I got bored of waiting for my electricity provider to phone back so I made marks on a canvas for a while. In between other stuff after the electric came back on I kept digging at it. By midnight this has happened. Acrylic on canvas 60cms x 60 cms. Prices include postage and packaging to the UK and Europe. SOLD

Sometimes an acrylic poor needs nothing else. I love the way this conveys the energy and essence of water. Acrylic on canvas 70cms x 50cms (27.5 inches x 19.5 inches). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe. SOLD

Acrylic pouring is how I achieve some of my backgrounds. Mixing acrylic colours with silicone and hair serum and other stuff helps them to keep separate and create swirly patterns. I got commissioned to do some of that on round canvases for some event. Here's the first one. SOLD.

Similar to Pink Pour 1, this was a commission for an event a couple of years ago. I did the first one and then they said "yeah that's nice, can you do us another just like it only pinker", sure I said and then bastard would not behave "just like the other one", fortunately they liked it. Note to self, don't trust the acrylic pour to do what you want it to do, it'll do what it wants to do most times. SOLD.

This is an acrylic pour, which would normally become a background for something else, however I like this as it is. Abstraction connects with my brain (don't know what's going on in yours) on a different level of comprehension, I more feel it than categorise it into known forms, I can't name it as this thing or that thing, and if you try to tie it down with words it's easy to start sounding like a horses arse. Acrylic on hardboard 61cms x 52.5cms (24 ins x 20.5 ins approx.). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe. ....SOLD.....
