R2D2 and C3P0

R2 and threepio. I think it was my 9th or 10th birthday (I was 8 actually) when my dad took me and a few friends to see the first Star Wars (A New Hope). A perfect film for a young boys mind, the archetypal good versus evil story with heroes /heroines, fantastic characters, humour and battles in space. I still love and feel involved in the story even though I'm not up to date with the films, the good and evil archetype still resonates strongly in me. Doesn't everyone want to be on the side of the good, the light, working towards making the world (or universe) better?  Funnily enough this is the first one of these which after being sold got subsequently left on a bus. I did another for them but I liked this first one better. Acrylic on canvas 40 cms x 30cms. SOLD. but , you know, I could another one if you like...
