These are "one off" pictures that I've done and have been sold or lost or one was even stolen.. I have no idea where they are. Just a demonstration of what falls out of my head.
Ethereal, magical, every one holding a rainbow. They sting quite a bit though if they get in your eye. 70cms x 50cms (27.5 inches x 19.5 inches). SOLD.

Bees, yes more bees. Are they working or out on a jolly? Acrylic on canvas 100cms x 70cms (39.5inches x 27.5inches). SOLD.

It's all about the colours in Autumn, leaves fall, they go all through the range of green through yellow, orange, red to brown. It strikes a certain peace in me, the end of the season, the beginning of regeneration, of the winter stillness. Like a breath out after the busy time of summer. Acrylic on canvas 60cms x 60cms (24 inches x 24 inches). SOLD

I love birds and birdsong. I feel so at peace when listening to the birds even though I know they're talking sexy or talking fighty. When I'm up early enough to hear the dawn chorus I feel transported out of myself, there is only my consciousness and the birdsong, nothing else. this is actually two pictures next to each other. 80cms x 60 cms (31.5 inches x 24 inches). SOLD.

So if Toucan Barbets were a favourite daytime bird in Ecuador, the undisputed favourite night time bird was this one the Potoo. Huge eyes and an almost flip top head and a crazy call, we always piled out to see one if they turned up at the lodge. Acrylic on canvas 80cms x 40cms (31.5 inches x 16 inches). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe. SOLD
I got into Motown when I was about 11 or 12. Diana Ross and the Supremes were high up on the list of favourites. They exuded goodness and wholesomeness. I loved the music, so good. Acrylic on canvas 60 cms x 60 cms (24 inches x 24 inches). SOLD.

When I was 16/17 The The were pretty much my favourite band. Now when a song of Matt's comes on the radio I stop what I'm doing and reminisce to those times. I really enjoyed the album art by Andy Dog that featured on The The's records also. Acrylic on canvas 40cms x 30 cms (16 inches x 12 inches). SOLD.

I had great plans for this one, I liked its watery waveness, and then I lost it somewhere. I have no idea if I gave it to someone or I painted over it or I put it somewhere. I often look for it when I think of something to paint on top of it. Ah well... Not available.

I went to the Galapagos in 2012. It is well hyped for it's amazing marine life and the multitude that occupies it's coastal seas. I'd been living in the rainforest and though the wildlife there is similarly hyped to be amazing (which it is) you very rarely see it. The Galapagos lives up to it's hype, as soon as I put my head under water to go snorkelling the first time I was surrounded by masses of colourful, vibrant marine animals, beautiful coral, sea lions, rays, hundreds of different types of fish, marine iguanas, sharks and sea turtles. It was truly amazing. I spent a large proportion of everyday under water while I was there, exploring and enjoying the wonder of it all. The only drawback was the sunburn but I would bear that anytime to swim those waters again. Acrylic on canvas 60cms (24 inches) diameter. SOLD.

Mandalas are fun, meditative and something I'm going to get more into for sure. I'm keeping this one, although I may put it into the next batch to be photographed for prints. Acrylic on canvas 30cms x 30cms (12 inches x 12 inches approx.). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe. SOLD

I enjoy painting insects, I spent a lot of time studying them when I lived in South America. I like bees, they live almost in another universe within the human universe, unseen before our eyes. I pick up lots of random shaped canvases, I have no plan for them when I get them, paintings begin to take form as I add more paint to whatever shape the canvases happen to be. This may be available later. Acrylic on canvas 168cms x 38 cms (66inches x 15 inches). Acrylic on canvas 168cms x 38cms (66 inches x 15 inches approx.). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe.

Just a bit of Fun. I'll sell it for millions later when I'm famous or dead or something. It's a bit like the colour charts I had to do when I was a kid (I'm colour blind, a bit). Acrylic on canvas 30cms x 20cms (12 inches x 8 inches).

I was a clown in the circus I worked at in Sweden. Even though I always thought of the time that the clowns came on at the circus was time to go to the bar or the toilet. I came to have more respect for clowns (sorry for the before time clowns) and I now proudly consider myself a clown when I work as an entertainer at public events. It isn't as easy as you might think to be clowning about in front of an audience. I also like that people are scared of them/us. Acrylic on canvas 80cms x 60cms 31.5 inches x 24 inches). SOLD.

I went with it, this is what happened. The unconscious did this, I'm pretty sure there's nothing oedipal or narcissistic about it. Maybe it's a message from some parallel consciousness reaching out to remind me to pay the gas bill. Acrylic on canvas 100cms x 70cms (39.5 inches x 27.5 inches).

More bees. What is wifi or other tech in the air doing to our wildlife? We have no idea, but sure as shit we're going to find out over time..... Acrylic on canvas 100cms x 80cms (39.5 inches x 31.5 inches). SOLD.

I sold this to someone who loved the film "The Company of Wolves", which I remember watching in the 80s. It's a Red Riding Hood thing to be sure, the background told me to do it. It reminds me that the original Grimms fairy tales were softened for the modern English palette, I don't understand why. Are we so fickle, so weak that we (the English) can't handle a scary story, will it be too real for us? I guess it is probably a massive pain in the arse for parents to have frightened children who are afraid of the dark or the forest or whatever. Acrylic on canvas 60cms (24 inches) diameter. SOLD.

More insects. Ladybirds are cool. I remember in the 1970s there being plagues/population explosions of ladybirds in the summer. The double glazing in my Grandparents flat filled up halfway with ladybirds one year. I'm fairly sure that wasn't a dream. They also eat aphids, which if you're trying to grow stuff in your garden is a good thing. 80cms x 60cms (31.5 inches x 24inches). SOLD.

The art surrounding the Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead and the alebrique artform originating from Pedro Linares are deeply impressive to me. I explored it a little here. Acrylic on wood. 60cms (24inches) approx diameter. Not available but I could be persuaded to make something else like this.

This is an acrylic pour, which would normally become a background for something else, however I like this as it is. Abstraction connects with my brain (don't know what's going on in yours) on a different level of comprehension, I more feel it than categorise it into known forms, I can't name it as this thing or that thing, and if you try to tie it down with words it's easy to start sounding like a horses arse. Acrylic on hardboard 61cms x 52.5cms (24 ins x 20.5 ins approx.). Prices include postage to the UK and Europe.

Water is a bizarre substance, it does weird stuff, acts weirdly, not fully understood scientifically. It often conveys extreme beauty, it can have awesome destructive power, it is the source of all life on our planet, without it we're dead, it may ultimately lead to our end. Acrylic on canvas 50cms x 40cms (19.5 inches x 16 inches). SOLD.
